Yolis Bienestar Educativo was born from a deep love for children and a desire to give them opportunities that many are too often denied. It began with the vision of Liseth Ceja, who believed that a child’s future should never be limited by where they are born, but instead shaped by the support, education, and care they receive.
That vision became even more meaningful through the life of Yolanda Ceja, a woman whose compassion for children defined much of her life. She cared for and supported hardworking families in every way she could, always ensuring children were safe, supported, and valued. Her legacy continues to live on in every part of this organization.
At its heart, Yolis Bienestar Educativo is driven by love, hope, and responsibility. We believe in the power of education to change lives, the strength of community to lift one another up, and the importance of giving every child the chance to dream beyond their circumstances. Every step we take is guided by this belief.

Yolis Bienestar Educativo is made possible through the dedication of individuals who share a common belief in the power of education and community support.
At the core is Liseth Ceja, founder of the organization, who leads the vision, direction, and development of programs aimed at supporting children in rural communities in Mexico. Her role focuses on building partnerships, guiding initiatives, and ensuring the mission stays centered on educational access and wellbeing.
Beyond leadership, the organization relies on a growing network of volunteers, community supporters, and future partners who help bring this mission to life. These individuals contribute through outreach, resource support, mentorship, and collaboration with local communities.
Together, these people and future collaborators form the foundation of Yolis Bienestar Educativo—united by the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

Making a tangible difference, one child at a time
While Yolis Bienestar Educativo is still growing, our vision is rooted in real experiences we hope to replicate across rural communities in Mexico. For example, imagine a child in a rural town who has strong curiosity and motivation to learn, but limited access to school materials, tutoring, or academic support. At home, their family works long hours in physically demanding jobs, leaving little time or resources to support their education.
Through programs like the ones we are building, this child would gain access to learning materials, mentorship, and a supportive environment where they feel encouraged and seen. Over time, with consistent support, they would begin to improve academically, gain confidence, and start to see new possibilities for their future.
Beyond the individual child, the impact extends to the family and the wider community—creating stronger educational awareness, shared support systems, and a culture that values learning and growth.
